I wanted to create an overpowering flower using the box i made for sewhat.
The petals were curved with pointed edges while the center consisted of shard-like pieces. i chose to do this because it would be much more stimulating than a realistic center. the idea first came from my drawings of abstract flowers which had triangular petals.
I like the overall look of the flower. it is very striking and almost demands attention. the center makes the overall presentation feel more violent than the original thought of a flower.
